We are happy to announce that we have received many interesting topic suggestions for our Technical Community Event and have found a date that suits most of you. Please save the following date for our Technical Community Event: 23 March 2021, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm CET, hosted via Zoom. Here some more information on the event itself.
Aim of the event is to provide our H-CLOUD Community with a platform for creating visibility for technical project insights and getting to know other European Cloud projects and stakeholders. As we have received 10 interesting contributions, we decided to give all 10 contributors a presentation slot of 15 minutes during the event on 23 March. Hence, there is no topic voting needed anymore. We are aware that 15 minutes might not be enough to dive deeply into technical matters. That is why we propose additional regular meetings after the event of 23 March, during which projects have more time to present (e.g., 60 minutes per project). We will discuss these additional, regular meetings & the needs of the community during the next Communication Task Force Meeting on 24 March 2021, 11 am CET, don’t miss it . For now, please see the event on 23 March 2021 as a kick-off event for showing interested Cloud stakeholders what is (technically) going on in the European Cloud Research & Innovation Scene.
Here a few instructions for the 10 contributors :
- IMPORTANT: Please confirm your participation in the event on 23 March & provide us with further information (e.g., presentation title, name of speaker, etc) by filling in this registration form. Speakers registration deadline: Sunday, 7 March 2021 . If you did not fill in the form by 7 March, we assume you cannot present during the event.
- Each of you has a presentation slot of 15 minutes including time for questions, please see the preliminary agenda at the end of this mail for your slot. The agenda will be updated based on the info we receive via the registration form. It is up to you how you wish to fill these 15 minutes, but you should leave at least 5 minutes for questions. You can do a short technical demo, or prepare a PowerPoint presentation, etc.
- There is a 25 min Q&A session planned at the end of the event. We kindly ask all 10 contributors to join this Q&A session.
